THS FBLA at State Leadership Conference

RJ Norman

The THS FBLA chapter traveled to Atlanta, Georgia on Friday, March 22nd to compete at their State Leadership Conference. At this conference, members are able to compete in many events, participate in workshops, and make many connections through networking opportunities over the two days. Of the 25 members who competed, 5 of them were finalists. These 5 competitors were: Caleb Rockefeller – 10th place in Cyber Security; Victoria Wells & Emma Rhodes – 10th place in Publication Design and 9th place in Graphic Design; Tyler Weeks – 5th place in Database Design & Applications; and Gage Ewest – 6th place in Cyber Security and 1st place in Network Design making him the State Champion in the event. This is Gage’s second time qualifying for nationals! Victoria Wells and Emma Rhodes will also compete at the National Leadership Conference this summer in the Virtual Business Challenge sponsored by Knowledge Matters after ranking in the top 8 this past fall. We congratulate these winners on their amazing achievements. We would also like to congratulate RJ Norman for running as a State Officer Candidate for the State Executive Council. RJ did not make the slate of 8, but will serve as a Region Officer in the organization during the 2019-2020 school year. Again we would like to congratulate all of the winners and competitors while wishing the national competitors good luck!
